I tapped the wrong score
Tap the small – button in the corner of that side’s score to take the point back — it works even after the game has been won. The serve indicator corrects itself automatically, because the service court is always derived from the current score.
My matches aren’t showing in History
History is read straight from Apple Health, so badmintho needs Health write access to save a match. If access is off, the app shows a banner in History. You can grant it in the Health app, or under Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → badmintho.
A match has no heart rate or calories
It was recorded without an Apple Watch. iPhone-only matches save the duration, players and score, and are labelled “Recorded on iPhone” — badmintho never invents sensor numbers. Play with your watch to capture heart rate, calories, distance and jumps.
Pro features are locked on my Apple Watch
The watch learns your Pro status from your iPhone. Open the watch app with the phone nearby and it re-checks automatically.
The watch screen stopped responding mid-game
If Water Lock is on, the touchscreen ignores taps. Turn the Digital Crown to unlock and keep scoring.
Where is my data kept?
Matches are stored as workouts in Apple Health, on your devices. There is no account, no sign-in and no server holding your data. The optional “Share anonymous usage stats” toggle is off by default — and even when on, it sends only anonymous daily counters, never your matches.
Restoring a purchase
Open Settings → PRO in the app and choose Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so they carry across your devices.
